Smart Technology to Reduce False Alarms
This detector has a built-in photoelectric smoke detector. For heat, it uses both fixed temperature detection and rate-of-rise detection. Its heat sensor triggers when it senses a temperature increase of 15°F or more in one minute. With an optical smoke detection chamber, it detects more accurately in responding to fires. This detection chamber also makes it more sensitive to unnatural smoke rather than natural cooking smoke. This lessens the chance of false alarm.
