This Z-Wave Plug-In appliance module provides smart home control to a connected device. Just plug in the module to any standard wall outlet, then plug the device you want to control into the module. You now have remote control over that device through your smartphone app. Turn the device remotely when needed. It is an ideal solution to give yourself smart lighting or control small electric appliances, such as your teapot. The module communicates with other devices up to 100 feet away from another Z-Wave item.
An LED light on the appliance modules shows you the load intensity of the connected device by displaying different colors. The module includes two power receptacles – one controlled and the other one pass-through, which stays powered at all times.
